Dont forget if you have rabbits outside check the spout of the water bottle even if its not frozen this is the first thing to freeze, Bit of pipe lagging or a rolled up newspaper with elastic band helps to stop the bottle freezing :)

Shaz I 100% agree with everything you have said, I have been friends with val for 12yrs now and I can honestly say that she is one of the most Loving , kind people I have the pleasure of knowing, she is also a very straight forward person and will always help people in any way she can, as for pets at home if they really cared about Animal welfare they would not sell animals at all, but instead just stock food , bedding , litter, toys ect. Kind regards Deborah

Shaz says...
I thought i would pop on and read the comments and all i can say is WTF Sean!?
If you had really had a genuine problem you would of got back to Val and spoke to her rather than posting a load of old twaddle on her guestbook.
As for your rabbit dying thats sad but nothing to do with her already being spayed that she died its to do with the risks involved with rabbits and anaesthetic, Your vet would of opened her up looked seen stitched her back up and woke her up simple.
As for teeth thats something i can 101% say never ever come from Vals as nothing would leave hers with bad teeth.
As for pets at home im guessing you have inside links as no one with a single brain cell would say what you said otherwise.
I cannot believe that such a idiots posts was allowed to stay on a wall for someone who has rehomed/saved and helped so many animals for nothing but love.
Her cages are fine the rabbits are healthy they are fed loved have everything they can need so rather than slandering someone's good name how about you have a think about what you wrote and see what a bloody idiot you are.
I wont pop back often enough to check replys but do feel free if you have a problem with my comments to contact me at shazlew@btinternet.com and i can again tell you what a nasty spiteful person you are.

hi val,if it wasnt for people like yourself ,bunnies would be dumped in boxes on doorsteps etc.how the hell would anyone [even a vet] know that a doe had been neutered without opening her up[RISK ] I USE PARK VETS WHO I CONSIDER A BRILLIANT VETS ALTHOUGH EXSPENSIVE BUT WORTH IT] all good vets would advise that there is always a risk with small animals when having any operation.what would he have done if you said you didnt know whether she had done still gone ahead no doubt and would have been minus the doe either way .you take in these rabbits for what ever reason mostly UNWANTED PETS] with no history only what the owners decide to tell you, if of course they know anything or are honest ,you can only pass on information that you are given whether it is correct or incorrect ,and as for pets at home they know jack shit pmsl when i read they recommend pets at home anyway you look after your rescue buns the brilliant way you always do take care see you soon avril xx

Sean, when i say not qualified, i mean not a qualified vet. People nowdays just want to get rid of these poor rabbits and say anything just to do so. I know nothing about the rabbit with the bad teeth. Its the bunnies that start off in so called loving homes and then get neglected by these so called pet lovers that I feel sorry for. I adore all my bunnies and would never treat my bunnies how some of these so called pet lovers do. I know someone who bought a rabbit (not from Val) and was told it was neutered, unfortunately a month later an unwanted litter was produced. I'm not taking sides and feel sorry for anyone who loses an adored animal as I have done myself, my daughters bunny was 9 years old when i had to make that awful decision. My other daughters bunny had bad teeth as he got older and had to be operated on, i was told then that any operation on a small animal was a risk, but it was one i had to take. He come round minus his teeth bless him, and lived on till he was 6 years old.

Bev you are clearly missing the point..if she is not sure our rabbit had been spayed or not she should say so and we could have found out..to say she has not been done and she was sure about that, you can back her all you want but this is not right..you said yourself if a vet does not know then how would someone who's NOT QUALIFIED..EXACTLY my point..not qualified.
